Local renowned guitarist and vocalist Jimi Ruccolo has created his own new style of Blues, Rock and Jazz.
His first solo album blends the very best of soulful vocals, searing guitar work and tight, catchy, solid song writing, capturing all of the influences of all genres that he seamlessly plays and sings with unabandoned emotion.
Jimi’s ability to play in every musical setting has gotten him first call for music sessions for hundreds of jingles and music projects. His ability to play guitar and several other stringed instruments (bass, slide guitar, mandolin, dobro) has kept him busy for fifteen years. His fondest memory in the studio is working with the legendary producer, Tom Dowd.
He has been able to mix his talents and has been fortunate enough to open for many major acts such as Joe Zawinal, Kenny Loggins, Sam & Dave. Jimi has also played in concert with Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine.
